Last Night’s Episode Of WWE SmackDown On FOX Preempted In Some Markets Due To The NFL's Games

Last night's episode of WWE SmackDown on FOX was a stacked show from top to bottom, with Scarlett and Karrion Kross cutting a promo and interrupting Drew McIntyre, Hit Row making their return to the WWE, Shayna Baszler and WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Liv Morgan signing their contracts for WWE Clash At The Castle, reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER putting his title on the line against "The King Of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura and Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah facing Shotzi and Xia Li in a WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Tournament First Round Match.

WWE SmackDown was preempted in a number of markets due to the NFL's games including Detroit, Michigan in which the show was preempted until 11:30PM local time on FOX 2 due to the game between the Detroit Lions and the Atlanta Falcons. Last night's WWE Friday Night SmackDown was also preempted in Atlanta, Georgia until 12AM local time on FOX WAGA due to the Detroit Lions vs. Atlanta Falcons game.

Last night's television broadcast of WWE Friday Night SmackDown in St. Louis, Missouri was moved from the local KTVI FOX affiliate to the local Antenna TV affiliate, which is KTVI2, the secondary channel to FOX 2 in that market. This was done due to the FOX Network broadcasting the game between the Green Bay Packers and the San Francisco 49ers. Their broadcast of WWE Friday Night SmackDown will be airing at 7PM local time on Antenna TV.
