Latest on Kurt Angle's Potential WrestleMania 35 Opponent

UPDATE: Kurt Ange and Shelton Benjamin are now teasing a match, but it's unclear if this is the official WrestleMania match or if this is just a tease.

— On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, the opponent for Kurt Angle’s retirement match at WrestleMania was discussed. Dave Meltzer speculated that he’s “thinking” it’s John Cena now mainly because WWE is promoting it that Angle will be picking his opponent and the two share history with one another as it was Kurt who was Cena's first opponent in WWE. He also adds that Cena is still scheduled for WrestleMania but hasn’t been booked into a match yet - this after the original plan with Lars Sullivan fell through.

-- According to @RajahNews, as of last week, the planned match was not Angle vs. Cena (instead it was supposed to be a way less noteworthy match), however, it should be noted that Vince McMahon is notorious for changing his mind, even up until hours before the show. Either way, the company is promoting that Angle will reveal his opponent tonight on Raw so stay tuned.
