-- As reported yesterday, after losing his Universal title at WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns is expected to be off TV indefinitely with no return date currently set. However, in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was speculated that Reigns likely won't be back until the build for SummerSlam, which would mean that he could be gone for around three months even though Roman at one point stated that if he lost, he would be done in wrestling. At this point, no one is believing that to be the case and it wasn't a point that was played up very much over the last few weeks.
-- The story further suggested that even though The Rock made mention that the storyline between Cody Rhodes and Reigns is over, a logical return match would be against Rhodes. That would leave The Rock vs. Reigns to take place at WrestleMania though instead of next year's event, it was speculated that it could be WrestleMania 42 in 2026. However, with anything that far out, it would be completely up in the air and dependent on so many factors.
