-- John Cena has been away from WWE for the last several weeks and will soon beginning filming a second season of "Peacemaker" putting his participation at the upcoming WWE WrestleMania 40 in doubt. In the lastest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was noted that Cena being at WrestleMania is completely dependent on his acting schedule and "if there is something going on."
-- The report added that in a best case scenario, Cena could appear but likely wouldn't do anything that would be deemed risky and the idea would be that any potential appearance would be fun, short and memorable but with substance.
-- Cena hasn't wrestled since Crown Jewel, following a string of unexpected appearances that was only possible due to Hollywood being on strike. He has also undergone two arm surgeries in November and has went on record to state that his wrestling career is winding down with the plan being that he will be fully retired before he turns 50. Cena is currently 47.
