-- Former WWE women's champion Rhea Ripley went through a dominant stretch arguably becoming the company's top female superstar before an injury shortly after WrestleMania knocked her out of action and forced her to vacate the Women's World championship belt. However, despite being absent on TV, Ripley has continued to be referenced by both the Judgement Day and Liv Morgan, setting the stage for her to immediately reinsert her into that storyline when she is ready to return.
-- Fightfulselect.com reports that originally there were no plans for Ripley at SummerSlam in August, however, sources have noted that storylines have been constructed in a manner where Ripley can simply "slide in" and return in the existing story, even if it's a non-wrestling capacity. The hope internally is that Ripley can make an appearance before SummerSlam, though it would no doubt be in a non-wrestling situation.
-- Further to that, there have already been discussions of her being involved in the world title picture which would be a natural progression from where she left off, having been forced to drop the title. A WWE source also stated that creative decisions have been made in her absence that still involve her but that ultimately the storylines that are at play when she finally does return will dictate where Ripley will be involved.
