As previously reported, WWE SmackDown is set to return to a two-hour format in early summer.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, the June 26 episode of SmackDown will be the last three-hour episode. The show will transition to a two-hour format starting with the July 3 episode. Meltzer noted that USA Network and WWE are reverting the show back to two hours, after which "Everything On The Menu with Braun Strowman" will air at 10 PM ET. The Strowman-led culinary series will debut at 11 PM ET for its first month, following a preview episode that aired last week.
As of now, neither WWE nor USA Network has officially announced the return to a two-hour format for SmackDown. Notably, WWE SmackDown similarly started 2025 as a three-hour show before moving back to two hours on July 4th. Meltzer suggested that the arrangement is likely a “six months on, six months off” situation.
