As previously reported, WWE announced earlier this month that it will be hosting 10 live events across the U.S. this summer. This marks the first live event tour in the U.S. during the summer in recent years, and it is reportedly aimed at providing younger talent with more opportunities to perform in front of an audience.
According to Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select, sources within WWE have indicated that the success of the summer tour will influence the possibility of a more extensive tour in the winter. Decisions regarding a winter tour will be based on the financial success of the summer events as well as the health of the talent involved.
The report also mentioned that select main event stars were approached about participating in the shows and had the option to decline if they wished. It is anticipated that around 25 to 30 talents will be featured in each event.
WWE's live event tour is set to begin on July 11th in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and will continue until August 30th in Charleston, South Carolina.
