After appearing at an indie event yesterday in Las Vegas, former WWE stars Rusev and Lana remain in Las Vegas, continuing to fuel rumors that they will be returning to WWE TV in the near future.
While WWE has not confirmed it, Rusev has reportedly inked a talent contract and is set to be back sooner or later, with some reports suggesting he will answer Randy Orton's open challenge. Meanwhile, his real-life partner Lana has reportedly signed a Legends Deal so it's unclear if she would be back on TV alongside Rusev.
PWInsider.com reports that Rey Mysterio's injury from last night is 100% legitimate but there is no word on his status for his WrestleMania 41 match against El Grande Americano. If Mysterio is unable to get cleared to wrestle, the top options are Dragon Lee or Rey Fenix to replace him.
