After wrestling each other in a relatively one-sided match Saturday at WWE Wrestlepalooza, John Cena and Brock Lesnar have wrapped up their rivalry.
Lesnar defeated Cena in a bout that lasted less than ten minutes at the premium live event which generated some speculation that WWE was planning for a rematch between the two, perhaps in December when Cena wrestles his final match. That doesn't appear to be the case according to Bryan Alvarez on the latest Wrestling Observer Live.
According to Alvarez, WWE sources have told him that there are no plans as of this past weekend for Cena and Lesnar to wrestle again and that it was the final time they were to wrestle and that Brock is not going to end up being Cena's final opponent. Alvarez speculated that Lesnar is looking like he will head towards a title shot in the future.
