-- Next year's WrestleMania 41 has been hotly rumored to be taking place in Minneapolis, Minnesota. WWE has yet to confirm or deny the report leaving the location unannounced with less than a year left, which is not typical. WWE president Nick Khan recently touched on the subject and said that the company has held off an announcement because a decision hasn't been made, noting that Las Vegas is also in the running to host the two-night show.
-- Fightfulselect.com added that sources within Minnesota have thus far been very confident noting that they believed they were the front-runners and were hoping to make an announcement soon but internally, some people within WWE have been pushing for Vegas instead. Khan confirmed that WWE would not be returning to an outdoor, north-east location after dealing with cold weather for WrestleMania 40, but even if they decided Minnesota there are options to get around that as US Bank Stadium is an enclosed stadium.
-- The report also had more details about Khan's comment that WrestleMania was unlikely to go head-to-head against the NCAA Final Four, which has fueled rumors that the event could return to a March showing, something that has happened 15 times before. However, a May date for WrestleMania has also come up as a possibility and that has never happened. PWInsiderelite.com added that if Las Vegas is awarded WrestleMania 41, it is believed that Minneapolis would likely be successful in getting WrestleMania 42.
