The Lawcast - Wrestlemania 24 was the Night We Said Fairwell to Flair

Helcome, boys and girls, to another episode of The Lawcast! This week our Wrestlemania anthology concludes on a high note, as we cover Wrestlemania 24. It's a loaded show that includes Ric Flair's retirement match, Floyd Mayweather as a guest star, Edge posing the greatest threat to Undertaker's streak yet, and a Triple Threat Match featuring John Cena, Randy Orton, and Triple H.

Add to that the insanity of the Vince McMahon death/son storyline and you've got one of the biggest, craziest shows we've ever covered.

Hey guys! If you haven't joined our the Lawcast Patreon yet, here's a look at what's new:

We now have SIX bonus episodes available to our donors, including a look at the rarely seen original pilot of Smackdown, an episode of So You Think You Can? where Steve is forced to try to fix the many, many issues with Starrcade 97, and we just released an episode of The 90s Sports podcast, something that started as a joke, but that people actually gave us money because they wanted to listen to it. You guys are weird and we love you. We also have an episode where Cewsh takes his turn in the booking chair and will try to fix the calamitous mess of ECW December to Dismember. We also have a recap of the past decade in wrestling, with a focus on the big picture stuff. How did WWE go from a monopoly to having actual competition? What sparked the women's revolution? What caused New Japan to become the freight train it is today? And what does the next decade hold in store?

Our latest bonus episode is a State of the Wrestling Industry Address, where we look at what is working and not working in modern wrestling, and try to predict its future.

So come on. Think of it as hiring us for a job where you only pay us $2.50 an hour. I'm pretty sure that's not even legal, but we'll just keep it between us.

Also, we have finally found a way to meet the request that we get the most often, and we finally now have a full archive for the Lawcast where you can go and listen to us talk about Sid for nearly 100 episodes. In the future we'll have playlists up there to make it easier to navigate, but for now we've got the whole deal there for the taking. Enjoy!
