Lex Luger is set to join the WWE Hall of Fame in a couple of weeks as one of the entrants of the 2025 class. Luger has recently gone public with his desire to have both Sting and Diamond Dallas Page induct him and while DDP faces no obstacles, Sting remains under AEW contract and his presence would require the approval of AEW President Tony Khan. Speaking to Sportskeeda's Bill Apter, Luger shared that he has ran his request by WWE officials but hasn't heard back on yet if it's possible or not:
I" ran it by WWE guys, Triple H’s right-hand man. He goes, ‘I know what you’re going to ask. I’ll have to run that up the flagpole, but man, I don’t know.’ And I haven’t had an answer back on that, but obviously, maybe selfishly, somewhat selfishly, I think it’d be great for the fans too."
"WWE may allow him up there, but he would also have to have permission from Tony Khan and AEW. So there’s a lot of moving parts there. But ideally, obviously, I would love to see both those guys up there with me. That would be huge for me and I think it’d be special for the fans too."
