One half of the reigning WWE Women's Tag Team Title holders, Liv Morgan, suffered what appears to be a serious shoulder injury on Monday's Raw. Reports indicated that her match against Kairi Sane was stopped short after Morgan dislocated her shoulder.
Speaking on their radio show, Backstage Pass, WrestleVotes had an update on Liv's condition noting that the unofficial belief backstage is that the former women's champion will need about three months to recover. It was also suggested that the internal reaction to the injury was "a lot more reserved, a lot more calm" than when Zoey Stark got hurt so that is good news considering the nature of Stark's injury.
Unfortunately though it was also stated that Morgan's injury has caused WWE to almost completely scrap the Evolution card that they had planned, "ripped up and started from scratch" because Liv was slotted for a big-time tag team match that can't happen anymore. Morgan's spot on the card is ultimately going to be filled by someone else and it's expected to have a big "ripple effect" on the rest of the lineup.
