Longtime WWE Veteran Gerald Brisco Among Those Who Were Recently Released

-- Gerald Brisco, who has been with WWE since the 80s in a career that spans over 35 years was named today by f4wonline.com as the latest name to be released by the company as it continues to slash costs. Brisco, 73, joined WWE in 1984 and has worked in the office with Vince McMaho as one of his senior and most trusted advisors. He was also a television character during the Attitude Era and later became the company's top talent scout, through his connections in the amateur wrestling world as a former Oklahoma State wrestler. Brisco is largely credited with signing Brock Lesnar to a contract with WWE.
