NWA recently had their The Gathering II Event, where NWA World's Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis beat Trevor Murdoch to successfully retain his NWA World's Heavyweight Title. After the match, Murdoch was not happy with losing his opportunity to become the NWA World's Heavyweight Champion, which is why he challenged NWA World's Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis to another NWA World's Heavyweight Title Match at the company's 73rd Anniversary Event, but this time it will be a Title vs. Career Match.
NWA's 73rd Anniversary PPV Event is set to take place on Sunday, August 29th in St. Louis.
