-- The WWE-Endeavor merger is still being finalized and expected to conclude at the end of the third quarter, which would leave only one month before that happens. A pwinsiderelite.com report states that WWE higher-ups believe the deal could be completed as early as middle of September and that "almost immediately", there will be a restructuring announcement that will see several WWE employees departing the newly formed company.
-- The report adds that there is a sense of "doom and gloom" among some WWE employees who feel that if you aren't in the production studios or directly involved with WWE talent, your role will be deemed redundant and potentially eliminated. One WWE employee pointed out that the WWE and UFC departments won't need separate travel offices, accounting departments, etc. so individuals in those areas are those that are likely fearing for their jobs the most. The report also noted that there are employees who have begun "quietly" looking for new jobs already as they want to get ahead of potential separations and being forced to pivot at the last minute. The exact number of jobs that will be consolidated is unclear but will of course become obvious once the transaction finalizes.
