Marcus "Buff" Bagwell Arrested & Charged With Multiple Offenses After Weekend Car Accident


-- Marcus "Buff" Bagwell was arrested over the weekend and charged with multiple offenses after rear ending another car in Cobb County, GA. Police records note that Bagwell drove his 2007 Saab into a 2006 Acura from behind at an intersection in the early afternoon of the 22nd of May. Bagwell then left the scene an drove on with the other driver following him before Bagwell finally came to a stop. Police were called and when they arrived about 15 minutes later, Bagwell's defense was that he was unable to stop his car due to his "battery issues." It was then discovered that Bagwell had an outstanding warrant from another car accident back in the summer of 2020 and along with the most recent incident, was arrested and taken into custody. He was officially charged with: Hit-and-Run, Giving a False Name/Address/Birthdate to Police, Following Too Closely, Failing to Provide a License on Demand and an Open Container Violation. He is scheduled in court on 7/22 for the old charges and 7/23 for the new charges.
