Matt Cardona Arrives In AEW, Makes Surprise Appearance On AEW Collision

Matt Cardona has arrived in All Elite Wrestling.

After working with the promotion a few years ago, "The Indy God" returned to the scene in AEW this weekend, turning up on AEW Collision in a surprise appearance.

The man that was named the Independent Wrestler of the Year for two consecutive years by Pro Wrestling Illustrated was the man to answer the latest "Cope Open Challenge" from Adam Copeland for the TNT Championship.

"The King of the Death Match" would go on to come up short in a hard-fought effort to Copeland, who retained the title successfully with a pin fall victory.

Afterwards, Malakai Black made his return and along with Buddy Matthews, attacked Copeland. Mark Briscoe ran out to help, but was beat down as well. Eddie Kingston ended up running down to make the save for Copeland and Briscoe.
