- AEW star and pro wrestling veteran Colt Cabana took to social media to vouch for AEW President Tony Khan tweeting that a "top independent wrestler" will be challenging "The American Nightmare" Cody for the TNT Championship on AEW Dynamite this Wednesday night. Cabana tweeted the following shortly after Khan's announcement.

- As noted, Khan has vowed that this week's AEW on TNT program will be "a great episode" that fans won't want to miss. Vouching for that on Twitter is another pro wrestling veteran, as Matt Hardy noted that this week's AEW Dynamite is a "HUGE, CANNOT MISS episode."
