Matt Hardy likes everything about Sting's upcoming AEW retirement.
During the latest episode of his official podcast, "The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy," the AEW star spoke about the company rolling out the red carpet for the retirement of "The Icon," including bringing in Ric Flair and having Sting's last match at AEW Revolution in the Greensboro Coliseum, a venue that is significant to his career.
"I was so happy to hear that," Hardy said. "I’m really glad that AEW is being very true to form and letting him wrestle in a city that was truly important to him and also formative to his career being Greensboro, North Carolina."
Hardy continued, "And I’m not gonna lie. I dig it because that’s an hour and 15 or 20 minutes from the house. So it’s nice, nice to just close by."
