According to PW Insider, NXT commentator Mauro Ranallo has agreed to a new contract with WWE and will remain the head play-by-play man for NXT. Reports claim that the deal was made over a month ago. Ranallo will still have the option to call non-WWE combat sporting events if he chooses. The Bipolar Rock'N'Roller began his WWE stint in 2015 for SmackDown Live, and was moved to NXT in 2017.
