The May 22nd episode of AEW Collision brought in 353,000 viewers on TBS, according to Programming Insider. That’s a noticeable dip from the 398,000 who tuned in for the May 17th episode, which aired during its usual time slot but ran only 90 minutes. It’s also down from the 382,000 viewers on May 8th, another Thursday edition of the show on TBS.
In the key 18-49 demographic, the latest episode scored a 0.08 rating—slightly lower than the 0.09 rating posted on both May 17th and May 8th.
This drop in numbers may be partly due to the show airing outside its regular Saturday 8 p.m. slot on TNT. Collision was bumped to Thursday night on TBS to make room for NHL Playoff coverage.
Despite the schedule shift, Collision still managed to rank around 12th on cable for the night. Topping the chart was Game 1 of the NBA Western Conference Finals on ESPN, where Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder took on Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves. That matchup pulled in a massive 5.156 million viewers and a dominant 1.60 rating in the 18-49 demo.
