Mickie James Thanks Vince McMahon In Statement Regarding Her WWE Release, Naomi Responds

Add Mickie James to the list of former WWE Superstars who commented on being among the ten talents that were announced as those released from the company as part of this year's post-WrestleMania roster cuts on Thursday.

The women's wrestling veteran took to social media on Thursday afternoon to comment about her WWE release after the news became public following online reports making the rounds.

James released the following statement via her official Twitter page, along with a couple of additional tweets acknowledging her release and thanking WWE Chairman Vince McMahon for the opportunity.

Grateful for the memories. Grateful for the locker room. Grateful for the fans. Grateful for these little keys to my golden handcuffs. You can never expected others vision of you to be big as your own dreams. Thank you, Vince McMahon. #AlwaysBlessedAndGrateful."

Responding to the tweet was WWE Superstar Naomi, who wrote the following:

"We love you!!! Truly one of the best! Thank you for every piece of help and advise Mick ❤️."
