Million Dollar Champion Crowned At Last Night's NXT TakeOver: In Your House

During last night's NXT TakeOver: In Your House, a Ladder Match with the Million Dollar Title hanging in the balance took place as WWE Hall of Famer "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase was looking on at ringside. LA Knight came out of the match with the big win by retrieving the Million Dollar Title and becoming the new Million Dollar Champion. After the match, the title was presented to him by WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase.

Back in 1989, WWE Hall of Famer "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase debuted the Million Dollar Title and even defended it a number of times despite the title never officially being sanctioned by WWE. It was then abandoned when DiBiase was no longer with the WWE, but was brought back in April of 2010 for Ted DiBiase Jr., but was abandoned once again in November of 2010. The title was made active again on last night's NXT TakeOver: In Your House Event. Knight winning the title makes him the sixth WWE Star to hold the Million Dollar Title in company history.
