If you ask Ted DiBiase Sr., the heavy fraud charges against his son, former WWE Superstar Ted DiBiase Jr., are "a bunch of garbage."
"The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase Sr. recently spoke with the folks from "Going Ringside" for an interview, during which he addressed the accusations made against his son.
As noted, Ted DiBiase Jr. has been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and theft involving programs receiving federal funds, six counts of wire fraud, two counts of theft involving programs receiving federal funds, and four counts of money laundering in connection with the misappropriation of millions of dollars intended for low-income Mississippi residents.
During the "Going Ringside" discussion, the WWE Hall of Fame legend addressed these charges against his son.
“All of that is a bunch of garbage," he said. "I’m not at liberty to talk about it but you know it’s kind of like they’re looking for a scapegoat."
He continued, "We’re caught in the middle of it. If I didn’t have a celebrity name they wouldn’t even be looking at me."
