As noted, MJF recently appeared as a guest on Ariel Helwani's MMA show at MMA Fighting for an in-depth interview talking all things AEW.
During the discussion, the Casino Ladder Match winner from this year's ALL OUT pay-per-view spoke about Cody Rhodes jumping ship from AEW to WWE, as well as whether or not he would have wrestled with a torn pec muscle the way "The American Nightmare" did in WWE.
Featured below are some of the highlights from the interview.
On Cody Rhodes jumping from AEW to WWE: “The American rollercoaster did what he had to do. He’s a businessman, just like MJF. I do not blame Cody Rhodes for his decision, Cody Rhodes did what’s best for Cody Rhodes and MJF always does what’s best to MJF, so kudos for him."
On Cody wrestling with a torn pec muscle and if he would do the same: “Incredibly brave, incredibly brave. Absolutely not, I would not do the same. Here’s what would happen, I would ask for my money, I’d go in the ring, and then lay down on my back. Technically I competed.”
