MLW recently announced that the CONTRA Unit has been fined due to what went down at the MLW Never Say Never Match between Calvin Tankman and MLW World Champion Jacob Fatu. MLW also announced that Daivari has been suspended for two months due to his involvement in the outcome of the title fight.
The match saw Daivari throw the CONTRA flag on Jacob Fatu and in the process, distracted the referee. While the referee was busy reprimanding Daivari and pushing Daivari out of the ring, Fatu hit Tankman with the flag and then did a triple jump top rope moonsault to pick up the win to retain the belt.
