Monday Night Raw Quick Recap for February 7, 2022
Matches Tonight: Eight (approx. 57 minutes of wrestling)
- Non-Title Tag Team Match: The Street Profits vs Raw Tag Team Champions the Alpha Academy. Decent back and forth match that saw Gable pick up the pin and the win. 8:23-8:29pm EST.
- Contenders Match: United States Champion Damian Priest vs AJ Styles. Pretty decent match that saw Styles hit a picture-perfect Phenomenal Forearm to pick up the win and secure a future title shot against Priest. Really, at least YouTube that Phenomenal Forearm--plenty of hang time and distance, just absolutely beautiful athleticism from the Superstar who turns 45 later this year. 8:47-8:54pm EST.
- Singles Rematch: The Miz w/ Maryse vs Dominik Mysterio w/ Rey. Short match that saw Dom win after Rey caused a distraction. 9:15-9:18pm EST.
- Singles Match: Bianca Belair vs Nikki A.S.H. Pretty decent for a short match. Belair picked up the win with a KOD. 9:25-9:29pm EST.
- Singles Rematch: Kevin Owens vs Austin Theory. Good match that saw Owens pick up the win. 9:37-9:47pm EST.
- Singles Match: Doudrop vs Liv Morgan. Good match; Doudrop picked up the win to carry momentum forward, towards the Elimination Chamber. 10:14-10:23pm EST.
- Singles Match: Riddle vs Seth F. Rollins. Riddle won by DQ when Kevin Owens attacked him. 10:39-10:48pm EST.
- Tag Team Main Event Match: RK-Bro vs Kevin Owens & Seth Rollins. Great match. Rollins picked up the win for his team. 10:51-10:59pm EST.
Miscellaneous Non-Match Segments of Note:
- Quiz Bowl: RK-Bro win the Quiz Bowl and a title shot against the Raw tag team champs. The Street Profits come out afterwards and heckle Gable and Otis until the Alpha Academy challenged the Profits. Otis would attack Montez Ford after the segment. 8:02-8:21pm EST.
- An All Mighty Announcement: The first hour is commercial free, so this was another long promo cut, this time on Lesnar. Lashley decried Brock's newest effort to win the WWE Championship, a week from Saturday at Elimination Chamber, and have a title unification match. Not much to say really. 8:33-8:43pm EST.
- Therapy: Alexa Bliss had another round of therapy, in which she was reminded that it was a replica Lily. The therapist attempts to get Bliss to hand over the replica, and she does. She's slowly changing her style to more normal clothing. 8:43-8:46pm EST.
- Miz TV: Featuring the Mysterios! Horrible segment that saw both teams exchange words, culminating in a rematch. 9:01-9:12pm EST.
- Lita/Lynch: Lita is glad to be back; Becs is not. The two came to blows and Lita left standing. Both women fight a week from Saturday in the Elimination Chamber. 9:56-10:04pm EST.
- Moments of Bliss: Three of the purported nine pre-recorded Bliss segments aired tonight as they continue to hype her return.
