Monday Night Raw Quick Recap for June 27, 2022

Matches Tonight: Six (approx. 69 minutes)
  • Money in the Bank Qualifying "Last Chance" Battle Royal Match. Opponents included the Mysterios, Shinsuke Nakamura, T-Bar, Mustafa Ali, Ricochet, Riddle, Shanky, Reggie, Akira Tozawa, Veer Mahaan, Jinder Mahal, Tommaso Ciampa, R-Truth, AJ Styles, Reggie, the Miz, Dolph Ziggler. Riddle won, eliminating the Miz with an RKO on the apron to pick up the final-two win. 8:05-8:25pm EST.
  • Singles Match: Montez Ford w/ Angelo Dawkins vs Jey Uso w/ Jimmy. Ford picked up the win; last week, Dawkins defeated Jimmy Uso, for reference. 8:38-8:49pm EST.
  • Singles Match: AJ Styles vs the Miz. Styles won after the Miz gave up and walked out of the ring, losing by count-out. 9:11-9:25pm EST.
  • Singles Match: Alexa Bliss vs Liv Morgan. Asuka joined commentary for this short match that saw Liv Morgan upset Alexa Bliss with a roll-up win. 9:48-9:51pm EST.
  • 2-on-1 Handicapped Match: Lashley vs the Alpha Academy w/ Special Enforcer Theory. After an impressive Electric Chair drop on Otis, Lashley picked up the win with a Hurt Lock on Gable. Post-match, Theory and Alpha Academy both attacked. Lashley successfully fought them off, however, demolishing the Alpha Academy with a Dominator, a Spear, and chased off Theory. 10:18-10:26pm EST.
  • Money in the Bank Qualifying "Last Chance" Elimination Match: Doudrop vs Shayna Baszler vs Becky Lynch vs Xia Li vs Tamina vs Nikki A.S.H. Solid match that saw Lynch pick up the win--and the crowd's favor, who clearly were popping big for her despite the piped-in boos. 10:47-11:00pm EST.
Miscellaneous Non-Match Segments of Note:
  • John Cena 20th Anniversary Celebration: Videos aired throughout the night praising Cena, from WWE stars such as Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin, the Rock, JBL, Steph McMahon and AEW stars such as Bryan Danielson, Chris Jericho and Paul Wight. Later, various vignettes were shown from other superstars, praising John Cena's record-setting Make-a-Wish Foundation wishes-granted, and a special in-ring segment was held to honor the WWE Legend. He was also shown backstage interacting with several superstars, from Riddle to Ezekiel--and Theory, who spoke trash to Cena but never gave him time to respond.
  • Face-to-Face Confrontation: Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair and Carmella. Ahead of Saturday night's fight, both women met in the ring and exchanged words before Carmella attempted (and failed at) another sneak attack. 9:36-9:40pm EST.
  • Vince McMahon Returns to Raw: ...to help celebrate John Cena's 20th anniversary! Cena cut a heart-touching promo, turning the praise of his 20th to focus on the WWE Universe. He repeatedly reiterated his thanks for the WWE Universe allowing him two decades of coming out to do the thing he loves, and generally praised unity--stating that whatever he does in the ring and out is for "us" not himself. 9:57-10:09pm EST.
  • Logan Paul: As announced on Raw, Logan Paul was shown in stills training for a return. The Miz announced he'd return with the Miz at SummerSlam to "continue their winning ways."
  • Money in the Bank Update: Riddle won a "last-chance" battle royal to secure a spot. The KO qualifier match was postponed without cause given.
  • Cody Rhodes Interview: Rhodes cut a short promo about missing out on MitB and stated he'd miss nine months due to this injury--he'll be back in time, presumably (my projection), for WrestleMania.
  • Next Week on Raw: The Mysterios vs The Judgment Day in San Diego (Rey's US home; Finn insulted Rey's parenting in an attempt to recruit Dom, setting up this match).
Commercial Break Tracker: Sixteen, totaling 49 Mins of Ads*:
