During this past Sunday night's TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view, Moose lost the TNA X-Division Championship to Leon Slater. After the match, WWE star AJ Styles made a surprise return to TNA to congratulate Slater on his significant victory.
Immediately following the show, Moose took to his Instagram to express his utmost respect for Slater. He also announced that he has accomplished nearly everything he set out to achieve in TNA and would be taking a step back for a while to focus on his health and consider what comes next.
This is what Moose wrote, “I’ve accomplished almost everything here at @tnawrestling ……. @leonslater_ I have the ultimate respect for you and the x division is now in your hands….. SHOW THEM HELL. For me it’s time to take a step back…. Get healthy and see what’s next…I’ll be back soon ❤️❤️❤️❤️ TRUSTTHESYSTEM”
