-- As reported earlier today, Monday's WWE Raw as extensively revamped as travel woes wreaked havoc with the company's original script for the show. PWInsider.com is reporting that "about a third" of the show had to be re-written with various wrestlers in danger of missing the show or arriving late including Sami Zayn, Matt Riddle, The Street Profits, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest. To make matters worse, most of the wrestlers flew all the way to Seattle arriving late only to be forced to turn around and be rebooked on red-eye flights back across the country to get home.
-- Brock Lesnar was never scheduled for Raw so his absence was planned. It is believed he is on a family vacation but will be back next week to officially accept the match against Cody Rhodes scheduled for Backlash in Puerto Rico. WWE is stacking the event there as it is part of a strategy to push the country as a travel destination in much the same way that they work the Saudi Arabia and UK events.
-- The LWO were originally scheduled for a six person tag team match but due to the travel issues, the match was changed to Rey Mysterio taking on Finn Balor. Also pulled from the show was The Miz vs. Matt Riddle. On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that this match was scrapped even before the travel delays became apparent so it isn't clear why the bout didn't go down. Regardless, The Miz was not even at Raw and Riddle arrived way too late to wrestle anyway.
-- The Trish Stratus heel turn and angle with Becky Lynch was a development planned well in advance which would align with previous reports that suggested that Stratus was returning with the turn in mind and to feud with Lynch throughout the spring leading into summer.
