Veteran WWE wrestler R-Truth made a shattering announcement this morning, sharing on social media that he is being released from WWE and thanking both the company and the fans for the great ride.
In a bit of a clarification to his post, it appears that WWE hasn't outright released Truth from his contract but instead have let him know that they have no intentions of extending the current deal or negotiating a new one. That would mean that Truth is still effectively with WWE until his agreement runs out. When that happens, he would immediately become a free agent and be cleared to appear for any other wrestling promotions (i.e. there would be no non-compete clause that he would have to wait out.)
