The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that she never improved enough in the ring to become even an average wrestler which put her below the “standard” that is required of all main roster talent.
-- Fightfulselect.com reports that not only did WWE have no current creative plans for Eva Marie, but they didn't even have anything for her when initially bringing her back to the company in October of 2020. Instead, she was seen backstage beginning December and plans with her and Doudrop weren't formed until March and her vignettes began appearing in May. Before her release, she was away from the company filming a movie.
