Around that time, it was reported that Natalya had stopped attending any WWE shows, which only fueled speculation that she may have been on her way out, however, the fightful report states that a new deal was already in place by then.
-- The report adds that WWE began talks with Natalya in the May timeframe with the long-time wrestler looking to ensure that her outside projects lined up with the terms of WWE's new proposed agreement and once those two things aligned, she signed a multi-year contract. Natalya has been with WWE for almost two decades and while there was interest in her (as well as husband TJ Wilson) from other promotions, almost everyone expected her to remain with WWE.
