More Signs Point To Odyssey Jones Being Released By WWE

-- After much speculation on his status, it appears as if Odyssey Jones is indeed gone from WWE. Yesterday, it was reported that after WWE completely purged his online profile (rather than move it to the Alumni section), he remained on the internal roster sheet but was not factored into any creative plans moving forward.

-- Today, pwinsiderelite.com reported that Jones has now been removed from the internal roster list as well, which all but confirms he is gone from the company though WWE has yet to issue any statement on their website or to media who have reached out to them, either confirming or denying the story. One source that we reached out to stated that "word backstage is that he indeed has been released."

-- While the reasons for his departure are not clear, fightfulselect.com reported that WWE made the move after allegations of domestic violence against him, though nobody knows the nature of those accusations or whether he was charged but one reported indicated that the incident took place in July and WWE only became aware of them recently. One would assume that the allegations are likely serious given how swiftly WWE reacted considering they recently brought Odyssey to Raw and were ready to give him a significant push as well.
