-- AJ Styles suffered a leg injury last week on WWE Smackdown that was initially reported as a work but then later noted to be a legitimate injury. Sean Ross Sapp of fightfulselect.com who originally stated it was a work had some interesting thoughts on the matter. He did concede that while Styles' friends as well as staff and writers were told that the injury was legit, WWE cameras followed him around and covered the footage with trainers as well as filming him leaving the venue on crutches, airing all of it on Smackdown Lowdown. Sapp speculates (and reiterates that it is just his opinion) that it could still be a very elaborately worked storyline and that Styles isn't actually hurt.
-- The "backstage" fight where Kevin Owens turned on and attacked Cody Rhodes was a scene that WWE was very happy with how it came off. The company was especially pleased with the buzz it generated and how spontaneous it looked. Rhodes reportedly came out of it "a little roughed up."
