-- As noted earlier today, it appears WWE's time at the Amway Center is coming to an end with December 1 being talked about as an unofficial date. SpecSports360's Jon Alba has more details on the contract amendment signed by WWE and the Amway Center earlier this year that extended the original October 30 end date. Alba notes that the new extension runs through until November 24, which would be a couple of days after Survivor Series (11/22), and is likely happening because of the NBA season looking to resume operations at the beginning of December as well as the ECHL's Orlando Solar Bears, who use the venue for their games, starting their season on December 11.
I have received the amendment to the contract between the city of Orlando and #WWE to hold the ThunderDome at Amway Center. Officially, it runs through November 24. pic.twitter.com/QRLMiCzb1k
