AAA runs their Triplemania Regia event next month on June 15 and multiple stars across WWE and TNA are being added to the event, no doubt as a result of the recent WWE acquisition of AAA.
WWE's Angel and Berto were confirmed yesterday to be part of the show and now f4wonline.com's Dave Meltzer is reporting that TNA stars Matt and Jeff Hardy as well as Joe Hendry are also expected to be announced as working the event. Meltzer added that with TNA sending wrestlers to AAA, it shows how deep the WWE-TNA relationship runs.
The report also noted that AAA would have obviously wanted Rey Mysterio at the show but he won't be there after getting injured before WrestleMania but the promotion is also hoping to get Penta, Rey Fenix, Dominik Mysterio, Chad Gable and possibly other big stars. While Angel and Berto are not considered top WWE superstars, they would be considered big in Monterrey.
