WWE RAW Star Mustafa Ali underwent several character changes and was even removed from the storylines back in November following a heated argument with former WWE CEO Vince McMahon. Mustafa Ali has since returned to the storylines, but he has not done much except challenge for the WWE United States Title against former WWE United States Champion Theory and compete in a number of matches on WWE Main Event against stars such as T-Bar and Finn Balor. Mustafa has even teamed with Cedric Alexander on a number of occasions and they even faced Ciampa and The Miz on an episode of WWE RAW.
Ali recently took to Twitter and said he has always been toning himself down to be more marketable to appear on WWE TV, but that is something he will no longer be doing and he is going to be a message as well as embrace every single part of who he is.

i’ve always found myself toning down who i am to be more “marketable”…and because of that i find myself trying to find myself.
im pakistani. im indian. im american. im muslim. im mustafa ali.
