During last night's WWE WrestleMania Backlash Event, WWE Champion Bobby Lashley successfully retained his WWE Title against Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat Match. After the match, MVP took part in a backstage interview, where he teased a huge surprise for the WWE Champion on tonight's RAW when he said that Lashley has proven time and time again that he is The Almighty WWE Champion and now is the time for Lashley to enjoy the fruits of his labor.
MVP said, “The champ has proven time and time again that he is The Almighty WWE Champion.” “There’s not a man in the history who works harder than he does. If you go to his Instagram, and see the workouts that he posts, mortal men will drop and die. Again and again, he has defended that title and shown the world that he’s the Almighty." “Now it is time for the champion to enjoy the fruits of his labor, right?”
MVP also told Lashley he has got everything lined up and he should take some time off.
MVP said, “Look, I’ve got everything lined up. I’ve got your trip. Let’s just say that tomorrow I’ve got some surprises for you. Take a little time off.”
Lashley told MVP earlier in the night that he has been putting in so much work for a long time and it is now time to celebrate.
Lashley said, “I’ve been busting my ass for a long time, it is time to celebrate now.” “We’ve put in so much work and delivered on everything.”
