In a new report by Wrestling Inc, IMPACT world champion Brian Cage will not be appearing at the promotion's next round of tapings taking place in Philadelphia this weekend. Cage was injured during Sunday's Rebellion matchup against Johnny Impact after taking a nasty looking bump on the arena floor. He would go on to finish the match to capture his first world title.
Cage was also not present during Monday's IMPACT tapings in Toronto, and it is unknown whether or not he will be medically cleared to return to action anytime soon. IMPACT has yet to address the situation, but it is possible that the Machine will have to vacate the championship depending on his status.
