During the most recent episode of NWA Powerrr, a new NWA National Heavyweight Champion was crowned as the main event of the show saw Chris Adonis defeat JTG in the tournament finals to win the vacant NWA National Heavyweight Championship. The match ended with Chris Adonis using his Masterlock finisher on JTG for a second time after JTG broke out on the first attempt. Fred Rosser (F.K.A Darren Young) then made his way down to the ring and threw the towel on JTGβs behalf.
This is the second time for Chris Adonis to become the NWA National Heavyweight Champion as his first title reign lasted for 56 days, which began on March 30th after he defeated Trevor Murdoch, and ended on May 25th after he vacated the title for a spot at a #1 Contender's Battle Royal for Nick Aldis and Aldis' NWA Worldβs Heavyweight Championship.
