-- AEW and Warner Bros Discovery appear on the verge of announcing a new media rights deal that will keep AEW programming on WBD stations for many years to come. A report emerged earlier this month that indicated that AEW TV shows would air on TNT, TBS and TruTV twice a week and according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter the two shows and three stations would suggest that TruTV would be airing re-runs or simulcasts especially since the station is being rebranded as a sports hub from 8-11 PM nightly.
-- More interestingly, if this report is true, it would confirm what many believe that AEW will be discontinuing Rampage and that a potential third show will be launched as "AEW Shockwave" that is being shopped around to Fox and likely other possible partners. The general belief is that the Shockwave being pushed to Fox will result in the show airing on an subsidiary network such as FS1 rather than Fox itself.
