News on Injury That Caused Change in Women's Survivor Series Match; Note on Reigns vs. McIntyre Match

-- On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, changes to the women’s Survivor Series match was discussed, with Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke replaced by Peyton Royce and Lacey Evans. Rose reportedly legitimately injured her shoulder last week when she was hurled to the outside by Nia Jax and caught her arm in the ropes and it would be the reason she was removed from the match with an injury angle. Once that happened, WWE for whatever reason, also didn’t want Dana Brooke in the match either.

-- The change in the top men’s champion vs. champion match was also brought up, with Dave Meltzer noting that the change was made last week and made obvious with the developments on Smackdown. It appears the reason this change was made was because of the Survivor Series match as WWE didn’t want to move forward with Randy Orton vs. Reigns, perhaps due to them both being heels.
