-- The Randy Orton vs. Keith Lee match on Sunday’s Payback PPV is something that was discussed in great detail in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter and it was suggested that WWE’s direction for next year’s WrestleMania is likely to have an impact on the finish as the plan at one point was for Orton to go into WrestleMania to face Edge as the champion. The best scenario still seems to be for Lee to win this match, Orton to eventually win the title from Drew McIntyre and then for WWE to book Lee vs. Orton title matches later this year or early next year. As noted before, WWE has envisioned Lee as one of the top babyfaces on Raw likely through 2021.
