-- WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella (Garcia) and her estranged (ex)husband Artem Chigvintsev have finalized their divorce. TMZ reports that the former couple went to mediation earlier in November and came to an agreement on a settlement.
-- Sources note that Artem and Nikki decided to quickly settle the matter as both are looking are looking to move on with their lives and the fact that legal fees related to paying their family lawyers was getting very expensive. Both also felt that the process was becoming "emotionally draining."
-- Artem and Nikki remain on rocky terms and aren't getting along but are cooperating and working with one another as their relationship involves. A rep for Nikki stated that the former wrestler's number one priority continues to be her son and she asks for privacy on the matter but appreciates the support she has received during this time.
-- Details of the settlement are unknown, however, a judge had previously ordered the two to share custody of their son despite Nikki's request to gain full custody. Artem was also seeking an unspecified amount of spousal support which Nikki opposed so it's unclear how that was ironed out.
-- The divorce came about as a result of domestic violence incident over the summer that led to a brief arrest of Artem and both individuals taking out competing restraining orders against each other. Documents related to the latest settlement show that both agreed to drop those orders. The divorce proceeding was scheduled to go to trial within weeks so by settling they have avoided further legal proceedings.
