As noted, Nikki Bella was announced as one of the participants in the 30-Woman Royal Rumble match at the WWE Royal Rumble 2022 pay-per-view later this month.
Shortly after the announcement was made by WWE, the WWE Hall of Fame legend took to social media to comment on her in-ring return at the PPV scheduled for January 29 in St. Louis, Missouri.
"Hi [Becky Lynch]," Bella began in a post shared via her official Instagram page, alluding to her intentions of winning the Rumble match and moving on to challenge for the women's title at WrestleMania. "Or maybe [Charlotte Flair]. Hhmmm what color looks better on me???"
Bella continued, "And thank you Dr. Juan Ribe for clearing me so I can come back and kick some ass! #RoyalRumble #FearlessNikki #BellaArmy #Bellalution."
Dr. Juan Ribe also commented on the news, writing on his Instagram page, "Everyone will see you fighting on TV, but I've seen you fighting (and winning!) to get back in that ring. Thanks for your loyalty and support, Nikki Bella!"
