-- After her husband Artem Chigvintsev was arrested and slapped with domestic violence charges, former WWE superstar Nikki Garcia (Bella) released her first public statement on the matter through a representation. The acknowledgement was brief, simply asking for privacy:
“This is a private matter, and Nikki asks for privacy for her and her family at this time.”
-- While it is not known if Garcia herself is the victim in the incident but based on further details revealed by TMZ, it appears she was involved. According to that report, Chingvintsev called 911 and requested medical assistance for himself, claiming that Garcia threw shoes at him. He then called back soon after that and tried to rescind the request for help, saying he no longer needed medical assistance. Police of course still showed up at their home and arrested him without incident. Authorities involved in the investigation released a statement stating that the "the victim in the case has asked for total confidentiality."
