NJPW and CMLL have been in a working relationship for 12 years, which has seen both promotions travel to the country of the other and even share their talents with each one. Both promotions have issued a joint press release, where they stated that their working relationship will continue.
It was noted in the press release that their working relationship has seen CMLL stars travel to Japan every January for the annual Fantasticamania tour and even compete in NJPW rings on a frequent basis. It was also noted that NJPW prospects have developed in excursions to CMLL in Mexico.
It was then noted that Fantasticamania was prevented from taking place in January due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but NJPW would like to reassure fans that it's working relationship with CMLL is unwavering and that CMLL will continue to be the exclusive business partner for NJPW in Mexico.
