NJPW also announced that the New Japan Cup, originally scheduled for March, will now kick off on June 16 and run through to July 11 for the finals. All of the events between these dates will be empty arena shows with no fans in attendance. It was also noted during the news conference that the promotion began testing for COVID-19 antibodies last week - testing all wrestlers, officials and staff.
